GEP 1, 2018-2019
SCHOOL AND CONTEXT
The Escola Betània, in Cornellà de Llobregat, it's located in Gavarra's neighborhood. The school started its activity at the end of the 60's as an educational response to an immigrant neighborhood that was growing.
Over the years the school has managed to be integrated into the environment and it has always looked for different ways to give educational solutions to the every moment needs.
The school instrumental language has been and is Catalan language, even though the most students and their families speak Spanish as a first language.
To face with success the future, having into account the migratori evolution of the last times and the mobility in the workplace that has been installed in our society, the school had been working to improve its linguistic project in which will be space for a third language. In this context we implement GEP.
